	Maître de conférences en sciences de l'information et de la communication à l'UFR Culture et communication et au Centre d'études sur les médias, les technologies et l'internationalisation (CÉMTI) de l'Université Paris 8, chercheur associé au PREFICS (Université Rennes 2) et au COSTECH (Université de technologie de Compiègne), enseignant-chercheur invité à la Faculté de droit et de science politique de l'Université de Szeged. Ma thèse porte sur la production de normes - juridiques et techno-politiques - de protection des données à caractère personnel, et sur le rôle de la rivalité entre systèmes de conviction concurrents dans leur production. Je m'intéresse plus largement aux questions qui touchent à la vie privée, à la surveillance et à l'informatique. J'étudie également des sujets en rapport avec la gouvernance d'Internet, au sein du Groupe de travail sur la gouvernance et la régulation d'Internet du GDR Internet, IA et société.

Cette page web n'a pas de politique de confidentialité parce que je ne collecte rien. Il n'y a même pas la moindre ligne de PHP. Contrairement au blog - qui tourne sous Wordpress - c'est du pur HTML à l'ancienne avec juste trois lignes de Javascript qui se baladent. Par contre, il se peut qu'OVH, à qui je loue l'ordinateur qui héberge ce site web, fasse des choses avec votre adresse IP. Vous pourrez en savoir plus ici. Si vous y découvrez quelque chose de scandaleux, faites-moi signe, je m'occuperai de migrer son site ailleurs. Sinon, j'ai un Raspberry Pi et un jour, mon site sera sur ce Raspberry Pi. Mais ce n'est pas encore le cas. J'édite ce site à titre personnel.

I am a researcher at COSTECH (Université de technologie de Compiègne) and PREFICS (Université Rennes 2), teacher and consultant specialising in data protection law and public policy and in Internet Governance studies. I recently finished a PhD on the production of data protection regulation, both legal and techno-political (in the form of Internet and/or Web standards). Since 2019, I am co-chair of an exciting Working Group on Internet Governance and Regulation at GDR 2091 Internet, IA et Société, that you are welcome join following this link. This web page has no privacy policy, because I don't collect anything about you at all. In fact, you cannot register with it. There is not even one line of PHP. It's full, old-school, pre-2000 HTML, except for the call of hide() and show() functions in Javascript. However, as my website is hosted on someone else's computer, and that the said computer is owned by OVH, they might do some stuff with some of your data, including your IP address. As far as I know, it is only for security purposes and technical stuff, and you can read more about it here. Should you ever discover something bad about the way they handle your privacy, please let me know so that I can migrate to another web host. Also, one day my website will be on my own Raspberry Pi. But alas, this day has not come yet. It will, one day. I do already have the computer.
